Grow & Go Lab was created to bridge the gap between allied health knowledge and everyday parenting.
Led by both a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and a Paediatric Physiotherapist, Grow & Go Lab brings together expertise in movement, motor development, sensory regulation, and functional skill development to provide practical guidance for the people who support children every day.
Our goal is to translate evidence-based knowledge from occupational therapy and physiotherapy into clear, practical strategies that parents can confidently use in real life.
At the heart of Grow & Go Lab is a simple belief:
Every parent wants to be the best parent they can be.
But children do not come with a manual, and understanding development can often feel overwhelming. Families are expected to navigate milestones, behaviours, learning, movement, and sensory needs without always having clear guidance.
Grow & Go Lab exists to make this knowledge more accessible.
Through research-informed resources, practical education, and collaborative insight from both OT and physiotherapy perspectives, we aim to help parents better understand how children grow, move, regulate, and participate in the world around them.
By supporting the adults around the child, we help create environments where children can build confidence, develop strong foundations, and thrive in everyday life.
As paediatric clinicians, we often see parents who are deeply committed to supporting their child’s development but feel uncertain about what strategies are most helpful.
Many families are navigating questions about:
While there is a growing amount of information available online, much of it can be confusing, inconsistent, or not grounded in clinical evidence. Grow & Go Lab was created to translate clinical knowledge into practical, easy-to-understand guidance that families can trust.
Our intention is not to overwhelm parents with complex theory, but instead to provide clear explanations and meaningful strategies that support children’s development in the environments where it matters most — home, school, and community.

Providing practical knowledge and strategies to support children’s development at home and in everyday life.

Supporting learning environments that encourage movement, regulation, and participation.

Sharing clinical insight and resources that support collaborative care for children and families.
